About Us

Desk Harold and Bella Karpin started Excel Office Supply in 1945 as a small family business. Serving the metropolitan area from the downtown facility, they laid the foundation of an enterprise that has survived and prospered in a very competitive industry. After the death of her husband in 1969, Bella, with her son Daniel, continued to manage the business.

The business was a passion and a labor of love for Bella. She grew the company with her tireless efforts to do whatever it took to take care of the loyal customer base that she had built. Product knowledge, personalized service, and treating every customer as Excel Office Supply’s most important customer were hallmarks of the way she believed a business should operate.

A second generation now runs Excel Office Supply, but the philosophy remains the same. Our loyal staff consists of people who bring 100 years of combined experience, and they honor the company’s history by continuing the business practices that have enabled us to provide exceptional service to our customers for over 60 years.
